A conflict has broken out in the Dogecoin community over the transfer of control of the project's main information resources to a new commercial structure. The trigger for the public confrontation was the renaming of the historical X account of the independent Dogecoin Core developers — it has now come under the management of the company Dogecoin Labs. According to critics, this step means the de facto centralization of the project. One of the most authoritative members of the community, blogger Mishaboar , publicly accused the leadership of the Dogecoin Foundation of lobbying for the interests of private business.
