Patrick Witt has left his post as executive director of the President’s Council of Advisors for Digital Assets, the White House confirmed on Wednesday. His temporary assignment to the council had expired, an official told journalist Eleanor Terrett in an email. She had asked the White House three times over the previous week whether Witt still held the job. The official’s statement thanked Witt for his service and named no successor. Witt declined to comment to Terrett. He has not posted about his exit on X, where his most recent post went up on 2 October.
