In 2024, Ripple announced a partnership with the DIFC Innovation Hub, the thriving innovation ecosystem of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), to accelerate blockchain innovation in the UAE. Ripple announced in 2026 its expansion in the UAE with the opening of its Middle East and Africa (MEA) regional headquarters in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
