A large trader opened a short position in gold worth about $10 million after taking profit on some crypto long positions, including Zcash (ZEC) and NEAR, with the closed trades yielding about $1.74 million. The gold position was built over three hours. At the time, it showed about $55,000 in unrealized profit, with a liquidation price near $7,247.2.
