Bitcoin may be entering a generational supercycle as market structure changes, James Thorne, chief market strategist at Wellington-Altus Private Wealth, argued in a discussion published Oct. 15. He said the familiar four-year cycle is over. Thorne drew on his experience with a commodities supercycle to explain why he believes current market conditions differ.
