Wallet Transfers $2.88 Million in UNI and PEPE to Gate After Five Hours

A wallet identified as wenyu8888888 transferred tokens valued at $2.88 million to Gate about five hours after buying them for $2.61 million, a roughly $270,000 increase in reported value. The address, 0x79E...8bcAd, bought 297.9 billion PEPE and 208,000 Uniswap (UNI) tokens. On-chain analyst 余烬 tracked the wallet activity and described the purchases as following a market decline amid panic after hacker selling. The $2.88 million figure was the tokens’ valuation at the time of the Gate transfer. Based on the rounded totals, that value was about 10% above the reported purchase cost.
