Tornado Cash may be a destination for the transferred funds. The two figures describe a partial movement: $38.8 million went to a new address, while roughly $1.12 billion in ETH remained with the wallet tied to the hack. The completed transfer went to the new address; any move to Tornado Cash would be a separate possible step.
