Visa is releasing new survey findings showing rising consumer interest in stablecoins for practical payments across Asia Pacific. The company says 46% of consumers are likely to use stablecoins in the next five years compared with 16% who used them in the past 12 months. Awareness stands at 66%, yet only 6% demonstrate an accurate understanding of how they work. Interest focuses on online purchases, travel spending and cross-border transfers, with 49% believing stablecoins could become common for international money movement within five years.
