Visa moved its stablecoin payment capabilities from pilot programs into commercial production on October 15, 2026, letting businesses prefund cross-border payouts through Visa Direct using USDC in near real time. Payments infrastructure provider Inyo Global is the first enabler of the offering, according to Visa’s announcement . The shift takes Visa’s stablecoin strategy from testing into live commercial operations, giving money transmitters, fintechs, banks and payment businesses a new way to fund international payouts outside traditional banking funding windows. It also marks the first time Visa has moved a stablecoin product into live commercial use on the Visa Direct rail.
