Vercel’s internal deployment data reveals a sharp shift in how developers are utilizing their platform: coding agents have surged from under 3% to more than 50% of total deployments in just six months. This transition is underscored by a 28x increase in agent-triggered deployments, signaling that autonomous workflows are moving from experimental scripts to core production components. However, this rapid adoption has exposed significant fragility in existing systems.
