USA Rare Earth Shares Fall 9.5% During Thursday's Trading Session

Shares of USA Rare Earth, Inc. (USAR) dropped 9.5% Thursday, Nov. 5, amid the prospect of closer scrutiny for mining firms that received billions in Trump administration support after Democrats’ midterm gains. The U.S. government’s portfolio includes 43 stock and warrant transactions involving more than 40 companies , with about $30 billion involved. The transactions span critical minerals, semiconductors and quantum computing. Some warrant deals may lead to equity ownership later if their agreed conditions are met.
