US crypto support remains weaker than broader backing for financial innovation, a new Ipsos survey shows. About 35% of Americans consider candidates’ support for financial technology important, compared with 13% when the question names cryptocurrency, blockchain, and decentralized finance. The DeFi Education Foundation released the findings on October 27, ahead of the November 3 midterm elections. Ipsos questioned 1,545 American adults through its KnowledgePanel between September 8 and 16. This margin of 22% shows how differently respondents react when financial technologies are elaborated on.
