US business activity experienced a slight expansion in October, with prices rising at the fastest rate since 2022, according to a report from Bloomberg Economics. The surge in prices is attributed to increased costs in fuel, transport, and wages, factors that have historically contributed to inflationary pressures. This development comes on the heels of a strong reading of 58.4 in the S&P Global US composite PMI for September, marking the highest level since July 2021.
