Uniswap Becomes First DeFi Protocol Token With CME Futures

Uniswap (UNI) became the first DeFi protocol token with futures on CME Group when the contracts began trading Oct. 19. CME Group’s standard contracts represent 10,000 UNI, while its Micro contracts represent 1,000 UNI. Both sizes are available for round-the-clock trading . The decentralized exchange uses UNI for protocol governance. CME’s futures reference the token itself rather than the full exchange protocol.
