Unichain Moves to OP Enterprise as Optimism Takes Over Production Operations

Uniswap’s Layer 2 network Unichain is moving to Optimism’s OP Enterprise stack, handing production operations to Optimism while leaving the chain’s user-facing state intact. The testnet migrates on October 13 and the mainnet follows on October 29, according to the Uniswap announcement . For anyone using the network, the switch is designed to be invisible. Unichain’s chain ID, deployed contracts, balances, and applications all stay the same, and the Uniswap v2, v3, and v4 deployments continue to run without interruption. The migration adds to a busy stretch of Uniswap protocol work, which recently included a StablePair hook for stablecoin pairs.
