Unbuzzd Study Found Lower Estimated Alcohol Levels at Three Time Points

A study published in March 2026 found lower breathalyzer-based estimates of blood alcohol at three time points among participants who took Quantum BioPharma’s Unbuzzd formulation. The study found no significant overall advantage on broader hangover or impairment assessments. A randomized crossover trial with double blinding and a placebo enrolled 26 healthy adults, 24 of whom finished both sessions. Participants consumed one gram of alcohol per kilogram of body weight in each session. Estimated peak blood alcohol concentrations ranged from 0.07% to 0.11%. Estimated blood alcohol was significantly lower with the supplement at 30, 60 and 240 minutes.
