U.S. Midterms Coincide With Five Days of Economic Releases

The Nov. 3 midterm vote falls in the middle of a five-day run of U.S. economic releases, with reports on manufacturing, job openings, payrolls and productivity scheduled around election day. All 435 House seats and about one-third of Senate seats are up for election. The vote will decide control of the House and Senate for the next two years. Monday, Nov. 2, begins with the Institute for Supply Management’s Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index at 10 a.m. ET (15:00 UTC). At 11:15 a.m.
