Two X accounts posted about belief in NFTs, offering individual views as three marketplaces made distinct changes to their NFT services this year. On Friday, Oct. 23, @MookieNFT asked, “Do you still believe in NFTs?” In a separate post, @WomanDefi wrote, “I think yes, still believe in them.” The posts are individual statements, not a measure of broader collector demand. Nifty Gateway closed April 23, after Gemini had announced Jan. 23 that it planned to close the platform Feb. 23. Withdrawal assistance and a bulk withdrawal tool remain available, and the platform plans to preserve NFT metadata and images indefinitely.
