Trump Says Iran War Will End Soon, Regardless of How It Ends

U.S. President Donald Trump said the war with Iran would end soon regardless of how it concludes, putting the conflict’s possible resolution in focus for oil and other risk-sensitive markets. The statement gave no end date or description of what would bring the fighting to a close. It did not identify a cease-fire, negotiations or another specific route. Trump left both the timing and terms unresolved. That makes the comment an expectation of an early end, not confirmation that hostilities have stopped.
