[Today's won] Won weakens to 1,342.1 per dollar, down 0.6 won

The South Korean won closed at 1,342.1 per dollar, weakening by 0.6 won from the previous session. On November 5, the won opened at 1,338.5 per dollar, 3.0 won stronger than the previous close of 1,341.5. It then weakened by 3.6 won through the session to finish at 1,342.1, marking a second consecutive session of declines against the dollar. USD/KRW remained near the bottom of its yearly range, bounded by a low of 1,323.1 and a high of 1,555.8. The close stood about 8% of the way up that range.
