[Today’s won] USD/KRW closes at 1,328.1, lowest this year

USD/KRW closed 2.2 won lower at 1,328.1, its lowest level this year and 14.6% below the annual high of 1,555.8. The won ended at its strongest level of the year as USD/KRW fell 2.2 won from the previous session to 1,328.1. USD/KRW opened unchanged from the previous close at 1,330.3 on October 20 and finished at 1,328.1. The pair declined for a third consecutive session. The closing rate marked the bottom of this year’s range between 1,328.1 and 1,555.8. It was 140.4 won lower than 1,468.5 three months earlier on July 27. The won also strengthened from a year earlier.
