Coca-Cola (NYSE: KO ) has, over the decades, proven to be one of the more lucrative stocks favored by the legendary investor Warren Buffett , both in terms of returns and its dividend yield. Indeed, KO shares have rallied approximately 3,500% since 1988 – the year the Oracle of Omaha first started buying – and have also offered strong performance in 2026. Specifically, after starting the year at $69.12, Coca-Cola equity rose 36.52% to its press-time price of $94.36. A trader who put $1,000 in mid-1988 following Buffett would, therefore, have $36,000 at press time on Monday, November 2.
