Tesla and SpaceX have each formed a committee of independent directors to examine a possible merger, creating a formal review process for a deal that remains hypothetical. RBC Capital Markets analyst Tom Narayan modeled a possible transaction at about $480 per Tesla share, an assumed price representing roughly a 30% premium in the scenario. Under that model, Tesla shareholders would own about 48% of the combined company. The estimate is not an agreed offer, and the committees have not reached terms.
