TAL Education Group generated $994.6 million in second-quarter revenue, up 15.5% from a year earlier but $85.4 million below estimates, putting growth alongside an estimate miss. Non-GAAP earnings per American depositary share were $0.06. Operating income for the quarter was $235.9 million, compared with $96.1 million in the year-earlier period.
