SUI Launches Asset Transfers on Mercado Bitcoin in Brazil

Sui is expanding into Brazil through Mercado Bitcoin, giving millions of local users direct access to assets built on the network. Mercado Bitcoin has become the first exchange in Brazil to support Sui asset transfers. Its 4.5 million clients can now buy, sell, send and receive SUI, USDC and USDsui. The expansion goes beyond basic token trading. USDsui is also becoming available as lending collateral for Mercado Bitcoin customers, opening another route into Sui-based financial products. Mercado Bitcoin is additionally exploring an integration with Hashi, Sui’s native Bitcoin infrastructure, once it reaches mainnet.
