Strategy Bitcoin Buys Slow as Company Focus Remains on STRC Buybacks

Strategy added a modest amount of Bitcoin last week, funded through common share sales. Most of the week’s capital went to repurchasing STRC preferred shares. The company expanded its digital credit buyback authorization. Long-term Bitcoin holders have slowed the pace of their selling. Strategy bitcoin purchases slowed to 267 BTC between October 12 and October 18, as the largest corporate holder of the asset paid $22.1 million at an average price of about $82,900 and lifted its holdings to 848,517 BTC, according to its latest weekly disclosure .
