Strategy Adds $21.5 Million in Bitcoin, Raising Holdings to Record

Strategy added 250 Bitcoin (BTC) for $21.5 million, extending its weekly accumulation streak to four weeks and lifting its holdings to a record 848,250 BTC as of Oct. 11. The purchase was completed at an average price of $86,194 per Bitcoin. The latest acquisition followed Strategy’s return to regular Bitcoin buying in mid-September after a summer pause. Strategy also repurchased $192 million in preferred stock. Its U.S. dollar holdings stood at $5.5 billion after the latest transactions. The company’s latest Bitcoin purchase was smaller than several earlier additions, but it still pushed the total reserve to a new high.
