Japanese cryptocurrency exchange BitFlyer has issued a notice regarding Stellar (XLM) deposits after incoming transactions were not credited to client accounts in the usual manner, attributing the issue to access restrictions on the official Stellar API. The issue started at around 11:49 p.m. Japan Standard Time on Monday, October 19, 2026, BitFlyer said in an X post. The exchange said it uses the official API of the Stellar Development Foundation to process inbound XLM payments, but the access limitations have affected its normal crediting process.
