SpaceX Options Priced Nearly 8% Share Move After Earnings

Options on Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SPCX) priced a nearly 8% share move for after its scheduled Oct. 20 earnings report, with trading activity on both sides of the stock’s closing price. SpaceX shares closed Oct. 19 at $147.96, up 1.3%. They traded at $146.33 in the Oct. 20 premarket session, down 1.1%. Both prices preceded the third-quarter results scheduled for after the Oct. 20 U.S. market close. Options activity included $170 calls and $140 puts. The call strike was above the Oct. 19 closing price, while the put strike was below it.
