Southwest Sets Oct. 21 Release for Third-Quarter Results

Southwest Airlines plans to release its third-quarter 2026 results after the market closes Oct. 21, with an earnings call scheduled for Oct. 22 at 10 a.m. ET (14:00 UTC). Its July forecast set adjusted earnings at 50 cents to 75 cents per share. The third-quarter outlook also projected available seat miles, a measure of capacity, would be down 1% to flat from a year earlier. Revenue per available seat mile was forecast to grow 17.5% to 19.5%, while CASM-X growth was projected at 3.5% to 4%.
