Solana Labs co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko urged data center operators to shift toward crypto in a brief X post, offering no details on the workloads or business changes he had in mind. He wrote, “If you are in data centers, pivot to crypto.” The message appeared Tuesday, Nov. 3, at about 10:54 p.m. ET (Nov. 4, 03:54 UTC). Data center operators provide facilities, electricity, cooling and network access for computing equipment. Yakovenko did not specify which crypto work those facilities should support or describe any business changes.
