Sedans Make Up Eight of Gen Z’s Top 10 Models in U.S. Insurance Rankings

Eight of the 10 vehicle models most commonly listed for Generation Z in U.S. auto insurance quote applications were sedans, a ranking that captures quote activity rather than purchases or changes in vehicle ownership. The Honda Civic, Honda Accord and Toyota Camry occupied the first three places. The other sedans were the Nissan Altima, Toyota Corolla, Hyundai Elantra, Chevrolet Malibu and Nissan Sentra. Ford F-Series and Chevrolet Silverado pickups filled the remaining two spots; no SUV appeared in the top 10. The Sept. 30 ranking drew on more than 58 million U.S.
