Securitize Frames Tokenized Stocks as a Path to Issuer Participation

Securitize’s Solana-based stock entitlements give eligible investors claims backed by existing shares, while direct registration with issuers remains a separate step in its vision for tokenization. Securitize announced its Solana stock service Oct. 8 with 12 equity entitlements for eligible investors in the United States, the European Union and other permitted jurisdictions. Transactions settle in USDC. Trading was scheduled to begin during extended hours, with plans to move toward 24/7 availability; use of a planned NYSE digital venue depends on its launch and applicable regulatory and operational requirements.
