Securitize Adds Anchorage Digital Bank Stablecoin for Tokenized Asset Settlement

Securitize is adding a stablecoin issued by Anchorage Digital Bank to support dollar settlement for institutional tokenized-asset transactions, with the bank handling the core services behind the payment leg. Anchorage Digital Bank will mint and redeem the stablecoin directly and provide custody and settlement. The arrangement is designed to give the dollar side of tokenized trades counterparty and custody standards comparable to those on the securities side. The announcement did not identify the stablecoin by name or provide a launch date. The stablecoin is intended to provide the dollar leg for institutional tokenized-asset transactions.
