SEC Posts Innovation Exemption Page With Venue List and FAQs

The SEC has published an Innovation Exemption page listing entities that notified the agency of plans to operate as Tokenized Securities Venues (TSVs). The page also provides contact information for questions about the exemption. Inclusion on the list does not establish that a venue meets the exemption’s conditions. The order gives certain venues temporary, conditional relief from the Exchange Act’s definition of an “exchange.” It covers eligible venues trading certain tokenized National Market System stocks.
