Robinhood Plans More Investment in Chain Developer Support

Robinhood plans to increase investment in support for Robinhood Chain developers after early network activity surprised the company and led it to staff a builder team, CEO Vlad Tenev said Tuesday. “I think you should expect to see us really ramp that up because we want to make it the best developer ecosystem as well as the best sort of global on-chain community,” Tenev said on Robinhood’s third-quarter earnings call. Builders had told Robinhood it could do more to support them, he said. Tenev said further help was expected “in the near future,” but gave no budget or firm timeline.
