The Robinhood chief, who also chairs AI startup Harmonic, says mathematical proof of software correctness is coming fast, starting with safety-critical systems Vlad Tenev has a bold forecast for the software industry. The Robinhood co-founder and CEO says all code will be formally verified within two years. That is a big claim in an industry that still ships patches to fix last week’s patches. Most software today is tested and then trusted. Very little of it is mathematically proven to work. Tenev made the prediction in a post on X on November 4, 2026.
