An attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh killed 12 people and injured more than 300, escalating tensions between Saudi Arabia and Yemen’s Houthi forces and raising wider Middle East security concerns. Saudi authorities attributed the strike to the Houthis, who have claimed responsibility for similar attacks earlier in the week. Airport operations were temporarily suspended after the attack. The incident is the deadliest attack on Saudi soil in more than a decade, adding pressure to an already intensifying conflict involving the Iran-backed Houthis.
