Ripple RLUSD Goes Live on Coinbase After OCC Trust Bank Approval

TLDR Coinbase now supports Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin on Prime, Exchange and its retail app. Customers can convert U.S. dollars and other dollar stablecoins into RLUSD at a 1:1 ratio. Deposits and withdrawals work on the XRP Ledger, Ethereum and Base. Ripple won final OCC approval for a national trust bank earlier this week. RLUSD has passed $2.6 billion in market cap, and Moody’s gave it an A2 rating. Coinbase has added Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin across its platforms. The companies announced the news on Wednesday.
