Revolut Forms Private-Market Venture With 2027 App Launch Planned

Revolut and asset manager Carne Group formed Revolut Ventures on Oct. 26, planning a 2027 app launch that would let eligible customers invest in private technology companies as firms stay private longer. The planned service will be available through the Revolut app. The company said the venture is intended to connect customers with private technology businesses before they reach public markets, where shares trade on exchanges. Revolut cited figures showing the average age of companies at their initial public offering rose from 6.9 years in 2014 to 11 years in 2025.
