A Minnesota reseller’s listing for a retired AI cluster with 9,600 Nvidia A100 GPUs ended Oct. 28 at an asking price of $59.7 million, with no sale outcome disclosed. Core 4 Solutions offered the 300-rack system on eBay with free shipping. The listing ended after the equipment was marked unavailable, but the page did not say whether a transaction was completed. The $59.7 million figure was an asking price for the full lot. Each rack contained four compute nodes, each equipped with eight A100 GPUs with 40GB of memory, plus three management servers.
