Bitcoin (BTC) inflows to Binance classified as retail transfers increased much faster than whale-classified inflows in the 30-day reading through Oct. 17, widening a gap that tracks potential exchange supply rather than completed sales. The retail-classified total reached $10.78 billion, up 54% from $7 billion in the Aug. 18 reading. Over the same comparison, whale-classified inflows rose 9.5%, to $4.6 billion from $4.2 billion. That left a $6.18 billion difference between the categories, compared with $2.8 billion in the earlier reading. Both figures are 30-day sums, so they describe activity across rolling periods rather than on a single day.
