Some corporate AI front-runners are changing team design, while technology leaders expect wider operating-model shifts within 12 to 18 months as firms reconsider decision authority and accountability. As AI moves beyond individual tasks, it may affect how companies organize work. It outlines potential implications for work structure, decision authority and accountability. In one survey, 80% of respondents cited an improvement in individual productivity, compared with 37% who described AI's effect on earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) as positive. Those answers are self-reported measures, not a record of productivity gains converting into earnings.
