Porsche Operating Profit Rebounds as China Exposure Falls

Porsche’s operating profit rebounded to $1.94 billion in the first nine months of 2026, even as revenue and deliveries fell, while the automaker reduced its exposure to China. The year-earlier period included strategic restructuring costs, making the comparison a sharp turnaround in operating profit. Revenue fell 5.9%, while deliveries dropped 16% to 178,532 vehicles. North America remained Porsche’s largest region by sales volume. The figures show a profit recovery alongside declines in sales and vehicle volume, rather than gains across every measure. Porsche’s China pullback is a separate development.
