PhotonPay Raises $40 Million to Expand Its Financial Operating System

PhotonPay has raised $40 million in a Series C round to expand its Financial Operating System, a platform designed to connect stablecoin liquidity with traditional financial networks for businesses. Blockchain Capital led the financing. SBI Group joined as a new investor, while existing backers IDG Capital, GL Ventures and Lightspeed Faction invested again. Blacksheep Technology served as the round’s exclusive financial adviser. PhotonPay plans to use the capital to expand multi-asset wallets that support stablecoins and fiat currencies, increase global card issuance and build out local clearing.
