Peter Schiff Sees A Buying Opportunity In Gold’s Selloff

Gold, silver, tech stocks, and bitcoin simultaneously declined on October 30, contrary to the usual behavior of safe havens. For Peter Schiff, this widespread sell-off signals a liquidity tension, but it may also reflect a temporary rush to the dollar amid margin calls. Spot gold lost $141.60, or 3.52%, to fall back around $3880 per ounce. Silver dropped even more sharply, surrendering 6.06% to around $49. Gold futures recorded their lowest close since October 2025. This move surprised, as geopolitical tensions, the stock decline, and the Binance hack would normally have supported precious metals.
