Peoples Bancorp Holds Quarterly Dividend at $0.42 Per Share

Peoples Bancorp Inc. maintained a $0.42 quarterly cash dividend, allocating about 46.3% of third-quarter earnings to a November payout for shareholders of the Ohio-based financial services company. The board declared the dividend Oct. 19. The amount matches its July declaration, leaving the quarterly per-share rate unchanged. The planned distribution totals approximately $15.1 million. Peoples had third-quarter net income of $32.6 million, or $0.91 per diluted common share, for the period ended Sept. 30. At the stock’s Oct. 16 closing price of $36.72, the dividend rate represented an annualized yield of 4.58%.
