Payward Expands xStocks Ecosystem to More Than 1,500 Representations

Payward announced Oct. 28 that its xStocks ecosystem now spans more than 1,500 tokenized representations of stocks, exchange-traded funds and IPOs across four markets, including Russell 1000 constituents. The representations span U.S., U.K., European and Hong Kong markets. Russell 1000 constituent representations are live in xStocks. Payward’s announcement did not break the ecosystem-wide figure down by platform, so the total does not establish how many representations Kraken currently offers. Kraken announced Oct. 22 that more than 1,000 xStocks were on its platform, but gave no exact count or itemized inventory.
