Oracle co-CEO Clay Magouyrk shares the stage with Sam Altman at Oracle AI World

The joint appearance came as Oracle expanded its OpenAI partnership to bring ChatGPT and Codex into its enterprise software Oracle co-CEO Clay Magouyrk and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman appeared together on October 27 at Oracle AI World 2026 in Las Vegas. Their joint session started at 12:40 p.m. ET, a few hours after Magouyrk wrapped a solo keynote. The pairing was not a courtesy booking. Oracle used the conference to announce a wider partnership with OpenAI, one that plants ChatGPT and Codex inside Oracle’s enterprise applications and databases. Oracle AI World ran from October 25 to 28.
