Oracle Adds Live Queries and Business Context to Autonomous AI Lakehouse

Oracle is adding tools to its Autonomous AI Lakehouse that let AI agents query enterprise data across connected systems and use shared business context while external data stays in place. Oracle unveiled the additions at its AI World event in Las Vegas on Oct. 26. The AI Data Catalog can connect to external catalogs and databases, Apache Iceberg tables, applications and object-store data. Customers can run live queries across those sources without duplicating the external data in the Lakehouse. The catalog can span Oracle and non-Oracle environments, letting organizations query data where it resides.
